If this is an option I haven't gotten ours to work; being able to map an anonymous donation. Also as Vanessa mentioned, we are not getting people's addresses through the sync either and that is really crucial for us.

Vanessa Goold, so that I can more effectively advocate for this feature, would you be willing to provide a few examples of custom fields you'd like to include on your forms? Thanks!
Vanessa Goold
Jonathan Lin: Hi Jonathan, thanks for reaching out. One particular custom field we need to map is a Referral Source field (picklist). I have set a Validation Rule on the Contact object in Salesforce to make users enter the Referral Source when creating a new Contact. As it stands, if the first time someone "signs up" with us is via a donation on Give Lively, the sync cannot create them as a new Contact in Salesforce. We also have a Supporter checkbox field and a Supporter Signup date field that we would like to map. There could be others, but those would be the main ones. Also, we are not getting people's addresses through the sync; only their name and email address.

Vanessa Goold: Thanks for the quick response! I will keep those examples in mind as we consider how to include this functionality in the app.
In the interim, have you considered writing in an exception condition in your validation rule to try to exclude contacts with a Lead Source value of Give Lively? It's not a permanent fix, but it could get around the issue of the sync failing.

Jonathan Lin: one of the custom fields that we would map immediately is Phone Number!

Grace Sica: Noted! That makes perfect sense to me.
